Bethel Faith & Practice
"We believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they."  Acts 15:11
What to Expect When You Visit Bethel
Our worship begins at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday with acapella, congregational singing of God-honoring, doctrinally substantive, experientially rich hymns of the Christian faith. Whole families worship together, with parents and children enjoying the experience of bowing before the Lord as a family unit.
After approximately one-half hour of singing and public prayer, our pastor or visiting minister delivers a forty-five to fifty minute message from God's word. A hymn is selected at the conclusion of preaching giving an opportunity to those who wish to unite with the church to come forward. Another hymn is then chosen and the congregation is given opportunity for a handshake, greeting one another in Christian love and fellowship. Worship is concluded with a closing prayer, or benediction.
Offering plates are positioned on the table at the front of the sanctuary (accessible during the handshake) and on the table in the church foyer (near the front door), for those who desire to share of their substance as the Lord has prospered.
On 2nd and 4th Sundays after morning worship, we share a fellowship meal in the lunch room, and invite everyone to join us for a meal together. This provides an excellent opportunity in this fast-paced world to spend extra time together, building healthy relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
If you have questions about our church or wish to speak to our pastor, please feel free to express your mind to one of the deacon brethren or any of our members. They will make sure that your needs are addressed.
